We don’t run motorcycle tours as a mass-producer. We build and lead rides the way we believe they should be ridden. That means small groups, well-thought-out routes, realistic daily distances, and the kind of planning that only comes from actually riding these places — not just selling them.
Every route is designed from the saddle. We focus on flow, terrain, remoteness, and the simple pleasure of good riding — not ticking tourist boxes or racing between hotels.
We keep groups deliberately small. It makes the riding better, the logistics simpler, and the experience more personal. No convoys, no ego, no pressure to ride beyond your comfort zone.

Richard Read - Motorcyclist
I am an adventurer from Melbourne, Australia with a desire to share my experiences with like-minded people from around the world. My favourite way to experience places is on a motorcycle.
I am a retired police officer from Victoria, Australia and have been riding motorcycles for 45 years. I rode police motorcycles for a number of years and have been riding professionally supporting cycling racing and events for 20 years. I feel confident to guide you through my favourite parts of the world and positive that you will have a wonderful experience no matter where we go.
I am the founder of Bespoke Motorcycle Tours and will be your head guide.

Tim Read - Motorcyclist
Tim is an adventurer from Melbourne, Australia who is also a renowned metal sculptor with a thriving art business. He and Richard have been riding together since they were kids on the XR80 and they still ride the same tracks in north eastern Victoria that they rode in 1979! The bikes are just bigger.
Tim knows the trails of Melbourne’s north east like the back of his hand and will assist - mostly - on our half and full day rides from Melbourne. He’s a well travelled adventurer though and his experience riding in places like Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Central Australia will have him guiding us on every kind of trip.
